Dear Senior members, colleagues and friends!
Due to the unprepared government's healthcare policy, Korea's healthcare is in a very precarious situation. Nevertheless, we are hosting the Autumn International annual meeting as scheduled.
On behalf of the Korean Neurosurgical Society (KNS), it is both an honor and a pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all of you at the 64th Annual Meeting, scheduled to take place in the Seoul, Korea, from October 17th to 19th, 2024. We are truly delighted to host this event, which promises to be a forum for scientific discussions, idea exchange, and enriching experiences.
This year's meeting main theme is “Beyond Conflicts, Toward a United Future” We have prepared a variety of lectures and special lectures on these topics. We are privileged to have five world-renowned international speakers, each an expert in their respective fields, who will undoubtedly provide valuable insights and guide us on the path forward. Their experiences will help shape a brighter future for neurosurgery on a global scale. In addition to our esteemed speakers, we have meticulously planned seminars, hands-on workshops, and interactive discussions that will allow us to explore various aspects of our theme. This presents a unique opportunity for all of us to engage in meaningful exchanges, learn from one another, and forge lasting collaborations. Finally, I send my heartfelt gratitude to the organizing committee and contributors for their tireless efforts in creating an exceptional program for this momentous event.
Thank you for being a part of this gathering, and I wish you all an enlightening and memorable experience in the impressive city of Seoul, where tradition meets innovation. I hope it will be a healing time for members who will be exhausted and struggling due to the current medical situation.
